ns code is an editor i shoved into the start menu because i wanted to write games without leaving the joke. nls looks like somebody described programming to a child and then the child shipped pong, which is sort of the assignment. you get pages and buttons and a screen and sounds and then you hit f7 and it either compiles or it yells at you in a beige box. f5 opens the window. if it works you feel like 1998. if it doesnt you read the error and pretend you meant to do that.
if you make three pages you put them in a nap folder. i know the name is stupid. i am not renaming it, the word is already in too many files and also i like that it sounds like a mistake. people started putting stuff in n store which is the part that actually surprised me. i thought this would be a minesweeper skin with extra steps and instead there are community apps that take longer to load than my actual patience, which is why the floppy led blinks. thats not a real floppy. i still made it blink.
there is a pong scaffold if you hit new game so you are not staring at a blank page wondering what a screen is. i stole the vibe from every learn-to-code demo and then put a win95 titlebar on it so it felt like stealing from the correct decade.
anyway if this paragraph is still going its because i did not outline it. hit f5. or dont. the store will keep pretending to download either way.
